Participants in this Alternative Education 2.0 workshop will explore the recommendations from the Alternative Education Design Work Group and learn about the progress made to date. The presentation will specifically introduce the new Alternative Education Guidebook, explore the transition process for students and programs offered in alternative education, and reflect on the narratives of BPS students who take an alternative pathway to graduation. Although the session is open to all, the targeted audience is traditional high school headmasters, assistant headmasters, academic counselors, and leadership team members. Participants will receive a copy of the Alternative Education Guidebook, a brand new resource for BPS students, parents, employees and stakeholders.
